This cartoon of Aristotle with a Bust of Homer (Simpson!), originally published in the New Yorker magazine on November 30, 1992, is a riff on Rembrandt’s painting of Aristotle with a Bust of Homer, created in 1653 and currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
