Full description

Aristotle’s Compleat Master-Piece, in Three Parts (London: Printed and sold by the Booksellers, 1733)

Penn Libraries, Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts, B468.4 1733

Unlike earlier editions on display here, the publisher of this edition made a long and explicit authorship claim for the work: “To tell thee that Aristotle (the learned Author of this Book) was generally reported to be the most knowing Philosopher in the World is no more than what every intelligent Person already knows.” Moreover, this edition alone contains the “Compleat” work.
