This work on chyromancy (palm reading) was attributed to Aristotle to legitimize this controversial art by exploiting the Philosopher’s authority. Of course, Aristotle never wrote on the subject. This German incunable is enriched by illustrations, which exemplify the different personalities and inclinations that can be understood through palm reading.
