Gulzar sahib1 has been missing for more than two decades. He was last seen assisting some members of the mujahideen (freedom fighters) cross the LoC into Indian-held Kashmir. When he was leaving for the mission, the Pakistani army assured him of a safe return. Since then, they have denied any responsibility for him. His family has waited for him for some twenty years. They now believe that he is no longer coming home. A funeral was held in his absence.
